Job Title: SAP MM Data Migration Expert
Location: Budapest, Hungary (On-site 2 days per week)
Contract Length: 6 months

Project Overview
The client is preparing for a large-scale deployment and requires a dedicated SAP MM Data Migration Expert to lead material master and procurement data migration activities from legacy systems into SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of MM-related data migration (extract, transform, load, validate).
- Define data standards, governance rules, and cleansing strategies.
- Collaborate with functional teams to map legacy data to SAP MM structures.
- Build and maintain transformation logic and data load templates (LTMC, BAPIs, or equivalents).
- Lead data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution cycles.
- Support cutover planning and hypercare activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10+ years in SAP MM with deep experience in data migration projects.
- Strong command of migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, BAPIs, BDCs, or third-party ETL tools).
- Proven experience with material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, and inventory datasets.
- Strong analytical and data quality capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Must be based in Hungary and available 2 days per week on-site in Budapest.
