About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Legal Advisor / Legal Counsel to play a pivotal role in supporting renewable energy project development. You will work directly with the Co-Founder, helping navigate complex permitting processes and ensuring projects meet all legal requirements. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly influence the successful rollout of energy infrastructure projects in Germany.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead legal guidance on building permits and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects.
  • Identify potential legal and permitting hurdles, and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, offering actionable advice on risk management and compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to project development.
  • Stay ahead of changes in German law affecting construction and renewable energy projects, proactively advising the team.
  • Help shape internal legal processes and frameworks to support rapid growth and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Law degree with solid knowledge of German law.
  • Strong experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or project development law.
  • Proven ability to recognise legal and regulatory risks and craft pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, capable of influencing key decisions.
  • Experience in renewable energy is a plus but not essential.
  • Fluency in German and English.
