Building Automation & Controls Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation and Controls Service Technician to support commercial facilities throughout the Baltimore/DC region, with a primary focus on Washington, DC.

This role is ideal for a self-sufficient BAS technician with strong Niagara AX or Niagara 4 experience who enjoys hands-on service, troubleshooting, and programming in complex commercial environments.

What You’ll Do

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems

• Program, install, and retrofit communicating controllers on:

  • VAVs, WSHPs, RTUs, and airside equipment

• Program controllers for basic operation and integrate into existing BAS

• Work with platforms including:

  • Tridium / Niagara AX & Niagara 4

  • Johnson Controls CCT

  • Honeywell WEBS

  • Carrier CCN

• Install and service BAS components in accordance with NEC standards

• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management

• Provide updates on project status and support field operations

• Continue developing skills in Niagara Framework programming methods

Required Qualifications

• Niagara AX or Niagara 4 experience and certification (required)

• 4+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or Electrical field service

• Prior experience servicing commercial BAS systems

• Strong troubleshooting and programming skills

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

• Ability to work independently in the field

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience installing and bending conduit

• Broader exposure to multiple BAS platforms
