Position Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for evaluating, repairing, and supporting warranty-related product returns while assisting with day-to-day service shop operations. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge who are motivated to develop their technical skills in a structured service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot returned products for warranty assessment, with guidance from senior technicians
- Repair and rebuild products in accordance with company standards and documented procedures
- Communicate repair findings and warranty decisions clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams via phone and email
- Support daily service shop operations in coordination with service personnel, product teams, and engineering
- Maintain accurate, clear, and well-organized service records, including documentation and order entries
- Adhere to all safety requirements and contribute to a clean, organized workspace

- Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair of returned products
- Professional and effective communication regarding warranty outcomes

Qualifications & Experience
- Basic knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
- Basic computer proficiency (email, documentation, order processing)
- Prior experience in the marine or boating industry is preferred
- High attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Willingness to learn and expand technical capabilities
