We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient engineer to support the configuration and validation of sophisticated laboratory automation systems. This role is critical in ensuring operational integrity, compliance, and performance of integrated robotic systems used in GxP environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation platforms, system documentation, and validation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and verify automated lab equipment including Hamilton STAR liquid handlers, HRB robotic arms, and associated devices (e.g., plate washers).
- Develop and execute configuration specifications, system administration SOPs, and IT integration procedures.
- Lead PC configuration efforts, user management protocols, and ensure alignment with IT infrastructure and security standards.
- Author and execute data integrity (DI) validation scripts covering audit trails, user roles, and configuration verifications.
- Coordinate with commissioning and validation teams during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Installation/Operational/Performance Qualification (IOQ/PQ) processes.
- Support loop checks and manage configuration baselines under strict version control.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with integrated lab automation systems, including Hamilton STAR, Cellario software, and robotic handling platforms.
- Strong understanding of regulated documentation such as DI specifications, traceability matrices, and configuration verification protocols.
- Proficiency in Windows-based system administration in validated environments.
- Familiarity with GxP regulatory requirements and best practices for software and hardware validation in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
