Role Overview
- Provide field service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for compressed air equipment at customer sites.
- Perform equipment start-up, commissioning, and operational training for customers.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and repair air compressors and pumps in the field.
- Perform installation, start-up, and commissioning of new or repaired equipment.
- Complete accurate service documentation using electronic devices.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work environment.
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites.
- Participate in on-call rotation and travel for service jobs, including occasional overnight stays.
- Support and mentor new field service technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of mechanical service experience (compressed air or pumps preferred).
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience using diagnostic and measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted / 100 lbs assisted.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
