Job Title: BMS Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Engagement Type: Contract / Independent Contractor (1099 or Temporary W2)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead the delivery of Building Management System projects across commercial sites in Atlanta. You will be responsible for managing projects from design through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification. This is a client-facing role requiring strong coordination and technical understanding of BMS and HVAC controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BMS projects from design through commissioning and handover

• Coordinate engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders

• Review technical documentation, control strategies, and progress reports

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience managing BMS or HVAC controls projects

• Strong understanding of BMS platforms (Niagara/Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Trend)

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Experience working on commercial projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
