Construction Safety Manager – Data Center Project

10-Month Contract | 1099 or W2 Accepted

This is a contract assignment. Candidates must have a proven background working on contract-based roles.

Role Summary

We are supporting a major data center construction project in Houston and are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Manager to join the site team on a 10-month contract.

This position requires a safety professional who is comfortable operating in a contractor-driven environment and has previously supported projects delivered by major general contractors or established subcontractors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide day-to-day safety leadership on an active data center construction site

• Enforce site EHS standards and client safety requirements

• Perform site inspections, audits, and incident investigations

• Support subcontractor onboarding, orientations, and ongoing compliance

• Participate in daily coordination meetings and field planning sessions

• Act as a visible safety presence across multiple trades

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience with a major General Contractor or reputable subcontractor

• Strong construction background (data center experience preferred)

• Demonstrated success in contract-based safety assignments

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments

• Confident communicator with site leadership and field teams

Credentials

• OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510/500 a plus)

• CHST, CSP, or equivalent certifications advantageous

• Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 10 months

• Engagement: 1099 or W2

• Location: Houston, TX (on-site)

• Start Date: Immediate / Near-term
