Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large-scale data center build in Denmark. The role has full accountability for project execution from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and sustainability.

This is a senior leadership position, acting as the primary interface between the client, contractors, designers, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for end-to-end delivery of the data center construction project
• Lead and integrate EPC, MEP, civil, and specialist contractors
• Full P&L, schedule, and risk ownership for the project
• Establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, and controls
• Act as the primary client-facing representative on site
• Ensure strict compliance with Danish regulations, HSE standards, and local authority requirements
• Drive high-performance culture across multi-national project teams
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and final handover to operations
• Proactively manage change, claims, and commercial negotiations

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale construction projects
• Proven experience as Project Director / Project Executive on data centers, mission-critical facilities, or complex industrial builds
• Strong background in MEP-intensive projects (power, cooling, redundancy systems)
• Demonstrated success managing €100m+ project values
• Deep understanding of construction contracts (EPC, Design & Build, FIDIC, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Northern Europe or Denmark strongly preferred
