The specialist will work cross-functionally with mission operations, engineering, software, and assembly teams to support the design, build, testing, and operation of next-generation aerospace systems. Responsibilities include supporting pre-flight planning, console operations during missions, and post-mission data analysis.

This position is ideal for an aviation-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on operational work, and wants to directly influence system performance, safety, and mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support mission planning and resource coordination for concurrent flight operations and test campaigns

  • Assist in improving test workflows, documentation processes, and data handling pipelines

  • Contribute to payload integration efforts by translating technical requirements into operational constraints

  • Support on-site flight test campaigns and operational activities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)

  • Monitor and communicate critical airspace and mission planning information, including NOTAMs, TFRs, and restricted/special use airspace

  • Support development, deployment, and maintenance of situational awareness tools to enhance real-time mission visibility

  • Assist with maintaining training records and tracking qualification status

  • Help develop and update training materials, incorporating lessons learned from testing and live operations

  • Support safety inspections of facilities and equipment and maintain Safety Management System documentation

  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of flight procedures, ensuring accuracy, version control, and proper release

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in aerospace ground and/or flight operations

  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing integrated ground and/or flight operations

  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Familiarity with hazard analysis methodologies and risk mitigation processes

  • Ability to author, maintain, and distribute operational documentation effectively

  • Detail-oriented and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
