SaaS Applications Administrator – Freelance – Barcelona
Location: Barcelona (Primarily remote, with some onsite meetings)
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a global eCommerce company, is seeking a skilled SaaS Applications Administrator to support and maintain a suite of SaaS tools across production environments. This role focuses on hands-on application ownership, automation, and coordination of L2/L3 support across a distributed enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical owner for assigned SaaS applications (e.g., Google Workspace, LumApps, Slack).
  * Manage and resolve application incidents; participate in root cause analysis.
  * Implement upgrades, refreshes, and automation for supported tools.
  * Maintain security, compliance, and operational performance of applications.
  * Develop scripts and APIs for automation and integration across platforms.
  * Collaborate with service desk, vendors, and internal product teams.
  * Coordinate change management and ensure up-to-date documentation.
  * Monitor service quality and contribute to product roadmaps and improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years in service integration, SaaS operations, or application admin roles.
  * Strong experience with Google Workspace, LumApps, Slack, and email security protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF).
  * Google Workspace Collaboration Engineer certification.
  * Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go).
  * Hands-on experience with APIs and automation workflow design.
  * Experience with containerized apps and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, etc.).
  * Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
  * Solid understanding of security, compliance, and IT service management (ITIL is a plus).
  * Comfortable managing vendors and supporting a global team.
  * Strong English communication skills, both technical and business-level.
